Early in 2007 Earthoil and leading flavour and fragrance raw ingredients supplier Treatt PLC formed a partnership which will allow Earthoil to further strengthen its position as a leader in certified organic oils.
Treatt is a world-leading independent ingredients supplier to the flavour and fragrance industry - manufacturing and supplying a vast inventory of innovative products, including essential oils and their natural fractions. The company has sites in the UK and USA, a sales office in China and a network of agents throughout the world.
Treatt's investment in the Earthoil group of companies was the first investment of its kind in Treatt's 120-year history - illustrating the importance Treatt placed on partnering with an organic oil company who managed their own growing projects and importantly, traded with ethical principles and practices.
The partnership has been in operation for a number of months now and has proved to be beneficial already - it allows both Treatt and Earthoil to share expertise, technical know-how and access to a greater range of organic product.
