The demand for organic essential oils and pressed seed oils is rapidly growing and that is Earthoil’s challenge – meeting a rapidly growing demand with a reliable supply of quality product.
Earthoil works closely with processors and certifiers to ensure that organic standards are met at every stage of the supply chain – from growing and processing to storage and distribution.
Earthoil meets a number of international organic standards so that it can supply clients across the globe. These include:
The certification of Earthoil’s premises and stock is undertaken by the Soil Association, the UK’s largest certification body. Soil Association is a non-profit organisation overseen by DEFRA (the UK’s Department of Environment, Food and Rural affairs), accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and by IFOAM (the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements). Earthoil Plantations Limited is inspected and recertified annually under the Soil Associations unique ‘equivalence programme’. Additionally, in order to fulfil international customers’ demands beyond the EU-US organic equivalency agreement, Earthoil has also pursued independent NOP certification with IMO.
